Filter Housing Kits
This collection includes two different kinds of products, so it's worth knowing which one you need before you shop.
Tier1 cartridge kits are for an existing housing. Each kit bundles a replacement cartridge with a new O-ring and lubricant, cross-referenced to common Pentek part numbers. Swapping in a fresh O-ring each time you change the cartridge gives you a watertight reseal; reusing a worn O-ring is one of the most common causes of housing leaks.
US Water Filters complete 2-stage systems are for a new install. Each one includes housings and cartridges, starting with sediment filtration and adding a second stage for your water concern:
- Sediment + chlorine taste and odor (CTO) for city water.
- Sediment + chloramine for municipal water treated with chloramine.
- Sediment + lead for homes concerned about lead from older pipes.
