Whole-house and undersink filter cartridges are made with different types of media, and each one does a different job. Start with what you want to remove from your water, then shop by size.

• Pleated media is a type of sediment filter with a larger surface area, so it holds more dirt and lasts longer between changes. Many pleated cartridges can be rinsed and reused.
